In Maiduguri, the Telari community came together to witness the dawn of a new era. On this significant day, the Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD) took a momentous step forward in its mission to bring positive change to the lives of the people of Telari. It was a day of promise and transformation, as CASFOD hosted the project inception meeting for “Providing Response through Multisectoral Engagement for Children” (PROMISE for Children) project.
The meeting was more than just a gathering of stakeholders; it was a harmonious symphony of voices representing the aspirations and dreams of the community. As the meeting unfolded, CASFOD Program Manager unveiled the comprehensive overview for the PROMISE for Children project. The project sought to deliver vital multisectoral emergency responses to individuals affected by conflicts in Telari. The project’s core pillars included life-saving healthcare services, inclusive and quality alternative education for out-of-school children, addressing protection risks, and enhancing the resilience of those in need. Moreover, CASFOD pledged unwavering support in providing safe water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities, nurturing the community’s overall well-being.
