Last week, our staff participated in the Gender-Based Violence training organised by BELA community Initiative to build capacity of staff on effective GBV prevention and proper response to GBV issues. The training is expected to build the capacity of staff on field operations and how to handle GBV related issues in the field.
The training, which took place at BELA Community Development Initiatives’ head office in Maiduguri exposed our staff to the rudiments of Gender-based Violence and the skills they need to handle issues effectively.
